Split Pea Hummus

An earthy split pea hummus that's so unique and sweet you may never go back to chickpeas! It's a fun twist that's perfect in wraps, sandwiches, and as a dip.

Cook time: 60 minutes

  • large soup pot
  • mixing spoons
  • Split Pea Soup meal starter pouch
  • 3 cups of cold water
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
    1. Add to a medium pot the Split Pea Soup meal starter pouch and water. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 60 minutes or until tender. Turn off the heat and allow them to cool.
    2. In a food processor, add the cooled split peas, tahini, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
