Split Pea Soup

A homestyle creamy mix of split peas, red bell peppers, garlic, potatoes and flavorful herbs, producing a flavorful and hearty meal.

Prep time:  5-8 minutes

Cook time: 60 minutes

Serves: 4-6

  • mixing spoons
  • knife
  • 1 meal starter pouch 
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 large potato, diced
  1. In a medium pan, add pouch contents and cold water.  Stir to combine.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer in a covered pan on low heat for 60 minutes or until tender.
  3. After 40 minutes simmering, add the diced potatoes and stir, adding more water if necessary.
