Seasonal fruits and vegetables are typically harvested at their peak, which means these foods taste better, and are even better for you.  If you choose to eat seasonally by shopping at your local farmer’s market, you’re supporting local, sustainable practices and family farmers.  Eating with the seasons is also a great way to step outside of your comfort zone and try new fruits and vegetables.  Here are some recipes using common winter produce to get you started:
