PLANTPURE’S ENTRÉES DEBUT ON PUBLIX SHELVES
Whole food, plant-based frozen meals now featured in nearly 800 grocery stores across the Southeast

LOS ANGELES, CA – NOVEMBER 7, 2017 – Tapping into a growing segment of consumers who are craving whole food, plant-based options in their diet, PlantPure, Inc. and Publix Super Markets, Inc. have brought a line of convenient, healthy dinner choices to nearly 800 Publix stores across the southeast.

Publix is now carrying four PlantPure entrées in their stores--Tuscan Pesto Pasta, Chana Masala, Thai Drunken Veggies, and Peanutty Buddha Bowl. Each entrée has no added oil and are easy to prepare in the microwave. “PlantPure wanted to provide consumers with healthy, easy, and, most importantly, delicious food options at an affordable price”, states PlantPure’s Founder and President, Nelson Campbell.

Over the past several years there has been a precipitous increase in the demand for plant-based or vegan foods. As a result there has been a global explosion of plant-based foods and products in the marketplace. A report prepared by GlobalData indicates a 500% growth from 2014 to 2017 of people who self identify as plant-based or vegan.

“The beauty of the PlantPure brand is that it is not solely focused on its financial bottom line, they genuinely want to make the world a better place, which includes improving the health of people and the planet”, says Lori Amos, Marketing Executive for PlantPure.

A commitment to a healthy lifestyle runs in the Campbell family. Nelson’s father is Dr. T. Colin Campbell, recognized as the “Science Father” of the Plant-Based Nutrition movement and author of the groundbreaking best-selling book, The China Study, which concluded that a predominately whole food, plant-based diet will result in a far healthier lifestyle. His revolutionary findings are featured in the 2015 documentary film, PlantPure Nation, released in theaters and now playing on Netflix. Nelson has spent the past several years turning PlantPure into one of the leading innovators in the plant-based food landscape, a sector that is currently experiencing some of the highest growth in the supermarket industry.

Rather than addressing the health issue, this blog is about creamers!
