Ever since I was a kid, one of my favorite things to do has been traveling by plane. I’ve always been fascinated with the speed at which you can reach your destination and all the places you can go. When I was younger, in my pre plant-based days, a trip to the airport meant a chance to “treat” myself to some greasy fast food that I knew wasn’t good for me, but that I ate and enjoyed anyway.

As we travel for a family trip to the mountains in West Virginia, staying plant-based is important. It will be a six hour drive and once we get to our location we will have limited access to both grocery stores and restaurants.
