The Protein-Combining Myth

Recently, my daughter received all of her textbooks before heading off to college this fall.  A required class for first year students is Health.  She started reading through the book and was surprised that they said to approach a plant-based diet with ‘caution’ because you had to watch your nutrients very closely.  They also referred to the “importance of combining vegetarian proteins during a meal to get a complete protein.”  The amazing thing is that this book was published in 2015!

A Testimony From PlantPure Challenge Winner Beverly Frans

"Less than a year ago, at the age of 49, I was well into my second year of suffering from angina, shortness of breath, and fatigue. After watching these documentaries they all started to make sense...

Annette Fowler's Plant-Based Transformation Story

"My name is Annette Fowler. I have struggled with my weight from the age of 13. I was led to believe that an obese life was my destiny. With that belief, I never truly tried to lose weight, as I thought it was not a possibility for me. I spent my teen years steadily growing through the high 100s. The last weight I remember being was 167lbs when I was in grade 10. After that, I never really weighed myself unless I went to the Dr's, and even then, the weight was recorded and never mentioned...

Building School Lunches

Building school lunches was an important task when getting our kids off to school.  As busy working parents, we came up with a variety of simple ideas that were quick and easy to put together.  Eventually the kids took over and have since reminded me of the ‘formula’ I used when teaching them to build their own lunches.
